About Me
If you landed on this page, you obviously would like to know more about me. I’m the same…whenever I visit another site, I’m always curious to get to know the person behind the site.
Well then here’s a good place to start:
My name is Lise Galipeau, French Canadian, living in a small town about 45 minutes from downtown Montreal. I will only concede that I’m over 50 and leave it at that!
We have a daughter who is back home for now…so there are 4 dogs in our household, 3 belong to us and the youngest is my daughter’s. Yeah, lots of dog hair around.
We love to travel and have been on very interesting trips: Israel twice, Egypt, Greece, France, Switzerland, Morocco, Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Barbados. And once we took our first cruise, we got addicted and we now have 24 cruises under our belt and still going strong. We cruised to Alaska, the Panama Canal and the Caribbean.
My background has nothing to do with cooking or websites. In my younger days (yerk too long ago), I was a secretary, a customer service manager and later on a travel agent for 13 years.
So how did I end up creating and owning 4 websites?
Well in 2000, I discovered the internet. No, I mean we had a computer, and the internet and I had one email address which I would forget to check! What can I say, I’m a late bloomer. But then I was involved in a networking company offline and wanted to take advantage of the internet. But I needed a website.
In those days, softwares or websites didn’t exist like today where you can set up a site in 10 minutes. So I decided to take classes on html and build my site. It was a wise decision.
Now, you can say about me that I’m an addict of everything web design, scripts, html, css, etc. I even make money with my sites and also designing for others. How cool is that? I love what I’m doing…finally at this late stage of my life.

As you can see when I talk about me, there is no mention of me liking to cook, because I don’t! As a matter of fact I can say I HATE COOKING.
BUT I love to eat and I’ve got to feed us so I have accumulated many recipes along the way. Some I have adjusted to our taste and some I follow to the letter. But they all have one common denominator: they are all easy.
I hope you enjoy visiting and trying the recipes and maybe you’ll send me yours. I would be honored to add them to my site, as long as they are easy!
